Lisbon. Unfortunately Public Image Ltd have international obligations on June 21, 2013 that can not be changed so unfortunately the Lisbon show will have to be cancelled. A New show will hopefully be arranged soon. PiL would like to apologise to fans for any inconvenience and thank them for their support as always. Please contact your ticket vendor for refunds.
The Porto show (June 22, 2013), and all other scheduled shows, will go ahead as planned.

John is interviewed in the Wall Street Journal where he picks some of his favourite personal items including a PiL backdrop display from 1984, the painting from This is PiL, and a pack of Red Stripe.
As part of a forthcoming punk exhibition at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art John Lydon has written an article for the official book to accompany the exhibition. "Punk was like nothing anybody had seen before, like nothing. Punk was fearless. Utterly fearless." John Lydon

As we confirmed last week PiL are finally set to play the Glastonbury Festival this June. Remarkably, this will be the first time John Lydon or Public Image Ltd have ever played the festival.
John Lydon says: “What a great chance for The Rolling Stones and Michael Jagger to see Public Image Ltd and Johnny Rotten at Glastonbury. Hugs and Kisses baby Rockers.”
PiL will return to the Rock Summer Festival in Tallinn, Estonia to help celebrate's the festival's 25th anniversary. Now legendary, the band played the very first festival in 1988 to over 120,000 people while Estonia was still part of the USSR. Tickets are on sale now, see link below. The designs - adapted from John's award winning book Mr Rotten's Scrapbook - are featured on an exclusive range (1-100) of uniquely numbered T-shirts, printed inside out to Mr Rotten's specification, complete with embroidered patch on the reverse, revealing the individual authenticity of this strictly limited edition range. A total of 6 different designs were made in late 2012 of which only a handful of 'Fun' and 'Sacred Heart' t-shirts remain.

The Sex Pistols will release a very special version of Pretty Vacant as a limited edition vinyl 7” single on April 20th for UK Record Store Day.
The A-Side is a previously unreleased version of Pretty Vacant recorded live at the Hammersmith Apollo on 2nd September 2008. Featuring a ‘Country & Western’ style intro it, as John Lydon says, “brings out the c*nt in country”. The flip-side is a 1977 mono mix of Pretty Vacant which was only previously available on a rare American promo of the single. The 3,500 limited edition, numbered 7”s come in a faithfully replicated version of the original American promo.

For Record Store Day USA (April 20th) Light In The Attic Records will release a replica 7" of PiL's debut single 'Public Image' wrapped in its 4 page PiL newspaper sleeve; as per the original October 1978 UK release.
The single will be limited edition of 4,000 copies (hand numbered) and available at all good record shops in the USA. Support your local record store.
The single will be followed later in the year by the first ever official US release of the band's debut album 'First Issue. Issued as an expanded, 2xCD and single LP edition; with various bonus material including an almost hour-long audio interview circa 1978. More details to follow soon...

We are pleased to announce that PiL will play their first club shows in Italy since 1987 this October. The band will play Bologna, Estragon on Saturday October 26th followed by Roma, Atlantico on Sunday October 27th.
Tickets go on general sale Monday but we will be having a special pre-sale tomorrow, Friday February 15th at 9am Central European Time via the links below.
The PiL UK / Europe merchandise store has been relaunched and re-designed. The store now features woman's sizes for the very first time (by popular demand), along with PiL Hoodies and designs from the 2012 tour, plus some new designs. More items will be added in the near future.
You can shop in Pounds, Euros or Dollars, and delivery is avaialble internationally. Likewise, the existing US store - which has a slightly different range including shirts from the 2012 North American tour - also offers international delivery.

We are delighted to announce the first ever PiL live dates in China, followed by a welcome return to Japan and Australia. After a monumental 2012 for PiL, seeing the band release their first album for 20 years: This Is PiL to huge critical acclaim, these new tour dates for 2013 are sure to be very special.
PiL will play China for the very first time in their history, before moving onto Japan, where they will make a welcome return having played the 2011 Summersonic Festival’s in Tokyo and Osaka. A very special interview with John Lydon is broadcast tomorrow, Saturday, November 24th at 10:05pm, UK on BBC World Service. 'An Audience With John Lydon' was recorded back in March to an audience of 150 people. As you may remember we invited people to submit questions at the time.
John talks candidly about his whole career including the making and release of 'This is PiL'. Definitely not be missed. The hour long interview debuts tomorrow on BBC World service and will also be available via BBC iPlayer.
